About
I'm Kirtan Jain -- an engineer at Samsung Research, where I work on the Android framework powering multi-window, Picture-in-Picture, and Samsung DeX across foldable flagships. Before that, I built OneIITP, the campus companion app used by 2,000+ students at IIT Patna, and led Alloc8, a room-allocation portal that assigns 3,000 students to 1,400 rooms in minutes.
On the research side, I've published at CIKM and EMNLP on multimodal machine learning, video understanding, and hate-speech detection. Outside of work, I'm an ICPC regionalist, Codeforces Expert, and a competitive quizzer who has represented IIT Patna nationally. I graduated with a B.Tech in Computer Science from IIT Patna in 2025.
